About Us

Founded in 2004, Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA), found its early roots in the development of specialized materials designed specifically for personal encouragement and further, becoming dedicated to establishing and maintaining the highest levels of professionalism in Coaching.

In forming the Certified Coaches Alliance, and with Affiliated Coaches in more than 25 countries globally, we dedicate our efforts to building strong bonds between educational bodies who share our common goals and in supporting individuals who are currently mentored by the coaches who are affiliated with Certified Coaches Alliance.

The CCA's primary responsibility and trust is given to representing the International standing of our affiliated coaches and keeping accurate records regarding the current status of our affiliated schools of coaching and coaches who choose to affiliate with us.

Our Philosophy

  • That the quality of one's life is directly related to the extent that the individual honors his/her own personal vision and goals;

  • That to the extent that an individual directs focus on his/her own personal vision and goals is directly related to the manifestation;

  • That directed thought in and of itself is the true power of creative expression and therefore has the power to render change, heal, inspire and energize.

Our Intent

To actively advance education and best practice of coaching by building strong bonds with educators who share this common view;

To build a growing network of strategic alliances and partnerships to maximize the potential of the 'Certified Coaches Alliance;'

To develop and execute initiatives that permit and honor the sharing of concepts and ideas which further the coach's talents.

Primary Responsibilities

The CCA's primary responsibility and trust is given to representing the International standing of our Affiliated Coaches and keeping accurate records regarding the current status of all affiliated schools of coach training and Coaches who choose to affiliate with us.

Second to this, the CCA contributes to the worldwide development of coaching by providing a thorough program accreditation process to ensure that coach specific training meets our expected high standards. The accreditation process provides coach-training programs, and those who enter them, with a competative edge knowing that the content and structure meet with strict guidelines.

Accreditation of Programming

As an accreditation body, CCA is committed to the developent of standards and procedures that reflect the needs of a dynamic, diverse and complex society of individuals. An important aspect of developing applications for International coach training markets is the adequate representation and promotion of educational coach programming while continually working toward improvement of support services.

Our present format of program accreditation provides a thoughtful and respectful process for the approval of cutting edge programming, on-demand and niche specific training. The intention of the CCA is to represent these programs Internationally with the integrity of diversity.

Professional and Character Referencing

The need for positive character referencing is key to any professional standing. Few coaches make the effort to be assured that the references submitted to prospective clients are, in fact, providing the type of recommendation expected to ensure positive follow up.

The CCA office extends character referencing services free of charge to all Affiliated Coaches who remain in good standing with the Registrar. Our office responds to any correcspondence received from individuals requesting information regarding the Coach's training or current standing with the Registrar.

Complaints and Grievances

Although extremely rare, any complaint that is received from a client is considered serious and is investigated immediately. Adverse event reporting requires the tracking and follow-up of any complaint case inforamtion received regarding a coach in good standing. Action will include formal notice of any such complain in writing to the coach affected as well as the review of records and an interview with the client generating the complaint.

Should an individual believe that he/her has a legitimate grievance regarding teh service provided by an Affiliated Coach, he/she is required to voice that complaint in writing within 30-days of such an incident.
