General Background of the C.C.A.:

Founded in 2002, the Certified Coaches Alliance Regulatory was formed and conducts its activity through volunteers who act on our behalf to assess educational programs that approach us for accreditation. We dedicate all of our efforts to building strong bonds between individual coaches, educational bodies who share our common goals and in supporting individuals who are currently mentored by the coaches who belong to Certified Coaches Alliance. The initial actions of the Regulatory Committee was the appointment of its Ethics and Standards and the dissemination and regulation of coaching within its membership. Early members were invited to contribute to these discussions.

Certified Coaches Alliance maintains its independence and is internationally focused and is open to partnerships with national, international and local organizations by affiliating with them in an exchange of useful resources. Our staff and Advisory are volunteers dedicated to building a partnership with both educational bodies and fellow coaches.

Certified Coaches Alliance aligns with those who hold up only the highest model of professional life coaching and spiritual mentoring.

We currently represent well established accredited programs running in the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands Antilles. Our list of affiliated certified coaches continues to grow as we currently represent members in the following regions:

• To actively advance education and best practice of coaching by building a strong bonds with educators who share this common view;
   
• To develop partnerships of likeminded organizations and individuals who maintain the belief that the cost of coach training should be affordable and not  based on strategic associations as a marketing tool to inflate the cost of their training programs;
   
• To build a growing network of strategic alliances and partnerships to maximize the potential of the 'Certified Coaches Alliance;'
   
• To develop and execute initiatives that permit and honor the sharing of concepts and ideas which further the coach's talents.

Our Business Status:

Certified Coaches Alliance offices reside in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Certified Coaches Alliance has no share holders or out-sourced funding bodies to maintain its development. Certified Coaches Alliance is considered a private, online, Internet entity whereby admittance into membership it considered on a case-by-case basis refused to anyone at anytime, without explanation. Our staff, Regulatory Committee and Advisory of Coaches all act in good will and on a voluntary basis.

Our Governance:

Certified Coaches Alliance is governed by, and relies upon, the sound knowledge and advice of a number of trusted professional persons who make up our 'Regulatory Committee.' Together, these individuals bring to the table a rich and diverse body of experience and backgrounds that are unparalleled. Each member of the Regulatory body is dedicated to further the cause of Life Coaching and is considered an independent resource.
