We are delighted you will be participating in the 2020 Midwest Region Coaches Conference (MRCC), in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, September 30-October 2, 2020.

Specific Event Registration to join us for additional events beyond the core conference including “EnhanceU”, a Pre-conference Workshop on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, 1:30-4:00 (details below) and/or to buy a ticket for a guest to accompany you to the opening reception (details also below) on Wednesday September 30, at 6:30 plus an opportunity to advance purchase dinner and tour tickets for Thursday, October 1, 2020 (a link with details of all the fun options below).


What’s Included in Registration?
The Conference registration includes participation in any conference session from the not to be missed, Wednesday evening at 6:30 Opening Reception in the Imperial Ballroom of The Pfister Hotel where you can mingle with your fellow coaches while sampling "A Taste of Milwaukee" through the closing keynote speaker on Friday, October 2, 2020 concluding at 3 pm. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided on Thursday and Friday. Dinner reservations for Thursday evening are available through the link below and on the Travel Information page of this site. The conference fee does not include travel, accommodations, or personal expenses.

This intimate workshop is designed to strengthen coaches personally and professionally. Attendees will participate in a guided self-reflection activity, then rotate with small groups for exercises and discussions on each of the following:

Coaching Supervision
Navigating Certifications
Creating Your Life Plan

An additional guest may join you at Opening Evening Reception at The Pfister Hotel

Dr. Tyrone A. Holmes, Ed.D

Unconscious Bias: A Quiet Performance Killer

Dr. Holmes will describe unconscious bias and identify the ways it can impact our interactions with others, affect our personal and professional relationships and work performance, and provide steps to reduce its negative impact on our life.

About Tyrone:


Dr. Tyrone A. Holmes is a professional speaker, consultant and author who has spent more than two decades teaching thousands of people to build powerful relationships in diverse settings. He received his bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Education and master’s degree in Counselor Education from Penn State University. Dr. Holmes received a second master’s degree in Business Management from the State University of New York before earning a perfect 4.0 GPA in his Counselor Education doctoral program at Penn State. As the owner of T.A.H. Performance Consultants, he has facilitated more than 1,500 keynotes, training seminars, webinars and classes that have taught participants to connect with others despite their differences, to effectively articulate their messages to connect with diverse audiences and groups, and to reduce the negative impact of unconscious bias. His most recent book is Making Diversity a Competitive Advantage: 70 Tips to Improve Communication, which is a tool we can use to build powerful connections in diverse organizations. Dr. Holmes is a Past President of the Arizona Chapter of the National Speakers Association, and he loves to facilitate fun, interactive sessions that provide useful tools and techniques for participants!


Dr. Amishi Jha, Ph.D

Taming Your Wandering Attention with Mindfulness Training


About Amishi
Amishi Jha is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Miami, and Director of Contemplative Neuroscience for the Mindfulness Research and Practice Initiative, prior to which she was an Assistant Professor at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her PhD from the University of California–Davis, and received her postdoctoral training at the Brain Imaging and Analysis Center at Duke University in functional neuroimaging. She studies the neural bases of attention and the effects of mindfulness-based training programs on cognition, emotion and resilience. With grants from the Department of Defense and several private foundations, she has been systematically investigating the applications of mindfulness training in education, corporate, elite sports, first-responder, and military contexts. In addition to her own published body of research, her work has been featured in many outlets including, NPR, and Mindful Magazine. In addition, she has been invited to present her work to NATO, the UK Parliament, the Pentagon, and at the World Economic Forum.

Darcy Luoma, MCC 

Thoughtfully Fit: Help Your Clients (and Yourself) Overcome Any Obstacle.

Building upon her master’s thesis at Pepperdine University on the impact of life coaching on overall satisfaction, Master Certified Coach Darcy Luoma studied her coaching clients and identified six obstacles that get in the way of them having the life they want. Learn about her Thoughtfully Fit model and the three steps that can help any client, and you, achieve goals.


About Darcy:
Darcy Luoma is a master certified life coach, dynamic facilitator, and professional speaker. She has her Masters of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University, where
her thesis research showed profound results that life coaching significantly increases overall life satisfaction and professional growth. Darcy served for 12 years as the Director of U.S. Senator Herb Kohl's office. 

Darcy is now the owner and CEO of Darcy Luoma Coaching & Consulting, LLC, which focuses on creating high-performing people and teams ( She is thrilled to have been voted Madison’s favorite life coach multiple times!
